* 2009: Possible deviation from general relativity seen by R Bean in analysis of cmb data, galaxy distributions and lensing surveys.
* 2010: Survey of 70,000 distant galaxies favors general relativity + Λ vs modified gravity, and is inconsistent with TeVeS.
* Tool: The quantity EG, first proposed in 2007 as a method of detecting deviations from general relativity using combined observations on various clustering properties of matter (with weak lensing, redshift-space distortions, and galaxy clustering) widely recognised as powerful probes.
