- 04.28: Final Exam Review Session: There
will be a review session for the final exam, in Lewis 101, our
usual lecture room, starting at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 1st.
- 04.28: Last Lab for Sections 7 and 8: Since
the labs on Tuesday, April 22nd had to be cancelled, the sections whose
lab meets on Tuesdays, sections 7 and 8, will have one more lab this
week, on Tuesday the 29th, at the usual place and time.
- 04.13: Test 3 Review Session: There
will be a review session for the third midterm test, in Lewis 101, our
usual lecture room, starting at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 28th. I expect
the review session to last one hour, but occasionally they last a bit
longer.
- 03.26: Test 2 Review Session: There
will be a review session for the second midterm test, in Lewis 101, our
usual lecture room, starting at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 31st. I expect
the review session to last one hour, but occasionally they last a bit
longer.
- 02.20: Makeup Class: To makeup
for the class that was cancelled on February 4th, there will be an extra
class
on Friday, February 22nd, at the usual place and time, 8:00 am in Lewis
101. There
will be no quiz during that class, and attentande is not mandatory, but
I will finish covering chapter 5, part of the material for the test on
Monday, and those who attend will get some extra credit.
- 02:13: Special Lunar Eclipse Lab: There
will be a special lab on Wednesday, February 20th, in occasion of the
total lunar eclipse, which will replace the normal lab for the following
week, February 25 and 26 for our sections of the course. Students who
cannot attend the special lab can use this as their drop lab grade. The
eclipse will start around 7:45 pm, so make sure you arrive before that
time.
- 01.16: First Lab: Labs
will start meeting the second week of classes. The labs for sections
5 and 6 meet on Mondays, so they will actually start on Monday the 28th
because the 21 is a holiday. The labs for sections 7 and 8 meet on Tuesdays,
so they will start on Tuesday the 22nd. Attendance to lab is mandatory,
and any student who misses more than three labs will fail the
course, regardless of their grades.
