The lab is an integral part of the course, and attendance to labs is mandatory; each missed lab will result in a zero for that lab. Students who miss more than three labs will fail the course, regardless of their overall grade. (This applies also to students who may have have already taken ASTR 104. If you don't show up for a lab, you will be counted as absent and get a zero for it, even if you already have a grade for that particular lab from a previous semester.)
