Frequency resolved ultrasonic pressure field patterns (amplitude) at a plane behind a sample. Derived from the Fourier transform of the pressure field of a single cycle 9 MHz pulse.
On the left is a color plot of the data and on the right is a surface plot of the same data. On the bottom is the field through a waterpath only at the same plane.
The first frame shows the pattern formed by taking the peak-to-peak values of the waveforms captured at those positions. Subsequent frames run from 0.1 to 12.40 MHz in 0.1 MHz steps.
The plots are autoscaled.(0:12)
