Gravitational-wave physics, compact binaries, tests of general relativity, and cosmology.
Research interests
- Gravitational-wave physics and astrophysics
- Detection and parameter estimation of gravitational-wave signals
- Binary systems of black holes and neutron stars
- Tests of general relativity
- Cosmology
Anuradha studies gravitational-wave physics and astrophysics, with an emphasis on detecting signals and estimating the properties of binary systems made of black holes and neutron stars. She uses these observations to test general relativity and investigate questions in cosmology. She is a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration and the LISA Consortium.
