Károly Csukás and Nathan Johnson-McDaniel joined the Ole Miss gravity group as postdoctoral scholars in fall 2021.
Csukás received his PhD from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and worked at the Wigner Research Centre for Physics. His interests include mathematical and numerical relativity, perturbations of rotating black holes, and initial data for perturbed black-hole spacetimes.
Johnson-McDaniel received his PhD from Penn State as a member of the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos and later worked at the University of Cambridge. His research includes gravitational-wave source modeling, data analysis, tests of general relativity, compact binaries, and gravitational waves from neutron stars.
