Floating orbits around rotating black holes

An Italian National Institute for Astrophysics article highlighted group research on floating orbits and massive scalar fields.

Group research on “floating orbits” around rotating black holes was published in Physical Review Letters. The work explores how an orbiting body can exchange energy with a rotating black hole through a massive scalar field.
