- 04.30: Review Session: The review session for the
final exam will be Thursday, May 3rd, from 6:30 pm onwards, in

- 04.05: Extra Homework Assignment on Test 2: Redo
the two items (questions or parts of problems) on which you got the lowest
score in test 2; bonus items are not included. Submit them by Tuesday,
April 10th at 5 pm. Bring back your test 2 together with the homework
to get
credit
for
both.
- 03.22: Review Session: The review session for test
2 will be Tuesday, March 27th, from 6:45 pm onwards, in our usual
lecture room. Note: This is earlier than the 7 pm time discussed
in class. The reason is that the room will be used for a public
lecture at 8 pm, and we should finish the review session by 7:45.

consists of questions/problems 14-61, 14-64, 15-8, 15-9, 15-15, 15-26,
15-35 and 15-49; the due date is Thursday, February
8th, at 7 pm. The paper part is questions/problems 15-60 and
15-77, due Thursday, February 8th, by 5 pm.
- 01.28: Clicker Numbers: Some students have not yet
told me their clicker number. As I said in class, that number must be
given to me directly (either in class or, better, by email); registering
it on Blackboard is not the right way to do it for this course.
- 01.24: Homework Assignment 1, Chapter 14: The
first assignment consists of 8 questions/problems to be done online,
and
two to be submitted on paper. For the online part go to the WileyPlus
site and check the assignments for this section of the course. The
questions/problems are Chapter 14, numbers 9, 13, 23, 28, 35, 50, 55,
90; the due date is
Tuesday, January 30th, at 7 pm. The part on paper is questions/problems
14-34 and 14-82; they are due Thursday, February 1st, by 5 pm, and
I will grade them personally. Make sure that you include explanations
for
all your answers and all your steps in the calculations!

enter the site, you need to register yourself with the code that came
with the book, if you have not done so already.
