files have been posted online since the Fall of 2004, although I started
writing them for my own use many years ago. They are now online because
I have been encouraged to do so, but I realize that they may be of
limited use for other people in their present form. I am working on
this by gradually improving the
organization and adding to the content of the files. Any comments and
suggestions will be most welcome.
Feedback: Any
comment, whether it points out errors or suggests additions, or any
other kind of comment, is welcome. I will reply to every email comment
I get.
Suggestions: Credit
will be given for any suggestion that leads to additions or changes
in the files (unless the author
prefers not to be named). Since I do not have a lot of extra time to
devote to this site, I may or may not follow a suggestion that
involves reading (part of) a book, or even an article; It would be
much more helpful for people to tell me directly, briefly, what their
point is.
Authors: Anyone
who feels that I have borrowed too many words from their papers without
giving them credit can tell me so, and I will do
something about it.
References
included: The
fact that a reference is included in these files does not necessarily
imply an endorsement
or a positive opinion about its validity or interest.
References
not included: I may have missed many
important references, even if I have seen them, because I may
not know enough about the relevant areas to appreciate their importance.
Please help me fix any omissions.
Finally: This
site developed and maintained on a PowerBook, mostly using
Macromedia Dreamweaver, with support by Safari and Mozilla Firefox. |
