Today, I am moving from the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute), Potsdam, after four fantastic years working in the Astrophysical and Cosmological Relativity Department, to start my new appointment in Urbana, Illinois. These very productive years led to 22 (and counting) papers. I met new collaborators and friends, worked and interacted with outstanding PhD students, and learned a lot from my colleagues from all three departments at the Institute.
On January 12, 2020, as part of my job interview, I gave a talk entitled “Adventures in the strong-field regime of gravity.” It is time to look for new adventures, but now in the American Midwest!
