I am happy to share that this Fall semester I will join the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I was in Illinois during the 2019 – 2020 academic year as a postdoc, but this time I am returning as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. I look forward to start building my research group, and contribute to the Urbana spirit of doing physics.
In the meantime, I am busy finishing (or pushing as far as I can) some projects that I am quite excited about here at the AEI. Stay tuned.
In preparation for the new position, I decided to update my personal website. It now makes use of Hugo, and is based on the “XMin” theme. The main difference with respect to my old website is that now I have a blog of which this is the first post. This will make it easier for me to share updates about my academic life and research activities.
