Hector Okada da Silva

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute), working in the Astrophysical and Cosmological Relativity division. Previously, I worked at the Department of Physics, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working with Nicolás Yunes and was part of The Illinois Relativity Group.

I received my PhD (2017) from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at The University of Mississippi, under the supervision of Emanuele Berti. Further back in time, I was a student at the Universidade Federal do Pará in Belém, Brazil, where I earned my Bachelor's (2008) and Master's (2011) degrees in Physics under supervision of Danilo T. Alves and Carlos Farina.
