relativity, astrophysics and quantum field theory.

Gravitational-wave theory and detection: Waveforms and source modeling, detection, LIGO data analysis,
LIGO detector characterization.

Classical models of gravity: Phenomenological aspects,
exact solutions, two-dimensional dilaton gravity, wormholes, topologically massive
gravity, black hole thermodynamics, naked singularities.

Quantum gravity: Quantum two-dimensional dilaton gravity, quantum
theory of black holes and wormholes, minisuperspace models, definition of time
in quantum gravity, third quantization of the gravitational field.

String and membrane theories: AdS/CFT correspondence, branes,
conformal dynamics, M-theory, exact solutions.

TeV-scale gravity: Transplanckian phenomena, phenomenological aspects,
