[Kennon] Astronomy open house in Kennon Observatory: Friday 5:30

We are offering a public viewing of the sky in Kennon Observatory at  
Ole Miss this Friday (Nov. 20), 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

We will be observing the Moon, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, as well as  
star clusters, nebulae, and colorful double stars.

The Moon sets early, it is a narrow crescent, so the best time is at  
the beginning of the show.

Observations are possible only if the weather cooperates. In case the  
weather is cloudy, we will have to cancel this event.

Families and children are welcome, the event is free!
