[Kennon] Open house in Kennon Observatory

We are offering a short astronomy open house in Kennon Observatory at  
Ole Miss this Friday (May 25), 8:30 pm to 10 pm.

We will be observing Venus (it goes down soon after sunset though),  
then the Moon and Saturn, and Jupiter as it comes up at 10 pm.

Observations are possible only if the weather cooperates. Because  
it's intersession, we'll have only a few telescopes out, and we  
cannot offer physics demonstrations this time. Most our faculty are  
out of town.

Families and children are welcome, the event is free!
