the author. CATFISH program and documentation cannot be sold, redistributed, reproduced or altered without permission of the author. The source code may

- Operating system: Linux x86 platform
- Intel pentium class processor (233 MHz or faster recommended)
- 512 MB of RAM (or larger recommended)
- 200 MB of free hard disk space for 10k event simulations (or larger recommended)
- Gzip and Tar archive packages (available free at http://www.gzip.org/ and
http://www.gnu.org/software/tar/tar.html)

Installing
To install the CATFISH Linux distribution follow these steps:
- Create a directory named catfish-v2.10 (mkdir catfish-v2.10) and change to that directory (cd catfish-v2.10)
- Click the link to download the archive file catfish_Linux-v2.10.tar.gz
- Decompress the archive with the following command: tar -zxvf catfish_Linux-v2.10.tar.gz
- Read the file README
To install the CATFISH Mac OS X distribution follow these steps:
- Create a directory named catfish-v2.10 (mkdir catfish-v2.10) and change to that directory (cd catfish-v2.10)
- Click the link to download the archive file Intel (catfish_Mac_Intel-v2.10.tar.gz) or PPC
(catfish_Mac_PPC-v2.10.tar.gz)
- Decompress the archive with the following command: tar -zxvf
catfish_Mac_[version]-v2.10.tar.gz
- Read the file README
Running
- To start CATFISH, change to the directory where you installed it and run catfish-v2.10.exe (linux) or catfish-v2.10.x
(Mac).
- The input file catfish-v2.10.inp contains the physical parameters of the simulation. To change the physical parameters
simply edit the catfish-v2.10.inp file.
