Vernal Equinox 2009

This slide-show is from photos taken during the spring, 2009 equinox. It shows the image of the sun through a small tube in the south wall is oriented such that direct rays of the sun shine through it to the floor only twice a year, at noon on the vernal and autumnal equinoxes.

XF11 Asteroid close approach, 2002

This slide-show is from photos take with one of our Meade twelve inch Schmidt-Cassegrian telescope telescopes during the October 2002 close approach. It covers a few days of observing.
