NGC 891: an edge-on galaxy in Andromeda
This galaxy is not related to the Andromeda Galaxy. It is very similar to what we would see if we could look at our Galaxy from the edge. Notice the dark dust lane along the disk.

Camera: SBIG ST-10 CCD camera
Exposures: 3x10 min with red, blue and green filters.
The glow in the bottom of the image is due to a reflection on the side of faulty baffle of the Meade telescope.
