I am interested in several topics directly related to general relativity: black hole perturbation theory, vibration modes of black holes, instabilities, etc. I recently began a long term project related to gravitational waves and their experimental detection. This is a particularly exciting topic, since gravitational-wave observatories such as LIGO are already taking data. I am currently engaged in the following topics:
